Update

Alright, so today we went out to another boarding school that is the top school in the country and is primarily made up of orphaned kids. It was night and day difference between PEFA. The kids were dedicated, disciplined, and very well fed. Jimmy showed us some pictures of what PEFA used to be about and it is sad to see where it is now. I hope and pray that we can assist Rivers Promise in the long run to return the orphanage to where it is now.

I left this Sonrise school and couldn't help but dream about what an orphanage/school can look like here. I think that, once I get back, that many of you will agree. Right now, Compassion supports this school as well as the archdiocese of Rwandan Anglican church so they are very well funded but also very well organized. Soon, prayer and funds will help Rivers Promise hopefully continue to do the same at PEFA.
